S B Jain Engineering College run by Sir Shantilal Badjate Charitable Trust which is premier educational institute of the region has not only made a mark in academic excellence, but also offered good job placements to its students.
The training and placement department of the college readies students for jobs in such a manner that majority of the students get selected in campus interview in a single attempt.
They are trained in technical and non-technical aspects and communication skills.
In 2014, many students of the college were selected for many premier companies of Nagpur like Persistent System Pvt Ltd, Cyways Software, Xenser Technology, L & T Infotech, Tech Mahindra, TCS, HCL, Wipro BPO, Wind World India Ltd, Smart Data Enterprises, Quick Heal Technology Pvt Ltd and many others.
In the current year so far, 68.09 per cent students of the college were selected in campus interview. 111 students were selected in an IT major. This year 45 companies held campus interviews for the 2014 batch while 14 companies held interviews for UG students.
