Mankapur cops slap one more land grab case on Gwalbanshi, 4 others

The land mafia Dilip Gwalbanshi is set to enter history books of criminal world on land grab offences count as Mankapur police have booked him in yet another case.

A Kolba Swami Colony, Katol Road resident Suresh Kachruji Dhurve (63), in his complaint told police that he and other persons had purchased three plots 107, 108, and 109 situated in Khasra No. 30/2, 31/2 in Netaji Housing Society of Gorewada in 2001. However, when Suresh Dhurve, in 2003, went to inspect his plot he found the entire plot fenced. Taken aback, Suresh enquired about who fenced the plot. He was informed that the fencing was installed by the accused Dilip Gwalbanshi, Ishwar Suprerkar, John Anthony, Lallan Prasad Mishra and Vinodsingh Thakur. But when Suresh Dhurve again went to his plot in March 2017, the accused abused, heckled and threatened to kill him. The accused demanded Rs 25,000 from each plot holder, Suresh told police.

Mankapur PSI S G Jadhav, on the basis of Dhurve’s complaint, has registered a case against accused Dilip Gwalbanshi and other four accused under Sections 341, 452, 504, 506(B), 387, 34 of the IPC.
