The wild-card entry for Miss India 2013 pageant was announced recently. Aspiring beauty queens who missed the opportunity the first time got another chance to try their luck in the contest. Over 7000 entries were received for the Pond’s Femina Miss India Wild Card contest out of which Nagpur girl- Manasi Moghe was selected as the winner. She has now qualified to be one of the top finalists of this contest. Manasi is final year engineering student and has a great following among city students.
The wild-card entry round for this contest is apparently a big game-changing strategy and it has been proven in former contest that the girls selected through the wild-card entry have gone to win the celebrated title. Vanya Mishra, Shriya Kishore and Ekta Kishore are known to have been wild-card entries who won Miss India titles.
