Pune: Wajare Police have arrested two persons in connection with a murder of girl who had been blackmailing one of the persons and demanding money from him. The police found the 19-year old girl’s body in Waghjai’s hilly area coming under the jurisdiction of Paud police station. The deceased has been identified as Prerna Kamble, 19, resident of Shivne, Pune.
According to the police sources, one of the culprits Vipul Shah, a married person was having extra marital affair with Prerna. This girl had been continuously blackmailing him. Vipul and Prerna were in love with each other. But Prerna would often blackmail Vipul and demand money from him. Fed up with her such demands Vipul in a fit of rage hatched a plan with the help of a friend to eliminate Prerna. He invited Prerna and along with his friend took her to Mulshi area on pretext going for a long drive. All the three of them went to Mulshi. On reaching here Vipul then with help of his friend strangulated Prerna to death in the car and threw her body in Waghjai’s hilly area coming under the jurisdiction of Paud police station.
Wajare Police arrested the two and are further investigating.
