A 40-year old man audaciously cheated the Court of First Class Magistrate by forging documents and submitting them for securing bail to an accused who is facing a number of offences under sections of cheating and other crimes. Now, the accused is facing heat from cops and the court as well.

Ravindra Laxman Gaekwad (40), resident of House No. 155, Fakira Wadi, in a well-planned act, forged necessary documents and submitted them to the First Class Magistrate, Court No. 7, Nyay Mandir (District Court) with the intention of securing bail to the cheating accused Dashrath Milap Shahu who has been charged with various offences under Sections 419, 420, 465, 468, 471, 34 of IPC. The accused Ravindra Gaekwad submitted the bogus documents to the court and pretended them to be genuine and thus cheated the court itself.

As the cheating came to notice, the Assistant Administrative Officer of Magistrate’s Court No. 7, Nagpur City, Sanjay Baburao Channe, registered a case with Sadar Police Station against the accused.

Sadar PSI Ingle has booked the accused Ravindra Laxman Gaekwad under Sections 420, 467, 471 of IPC and investigating the case thoroughly.
