Man storms into Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s chamber in Sadar, creates ruckus; booked

crime 2Nagpur: A man, in an act of audacity, stormed the chamber of a Sub-Divisional Magistrate and resorted to hot exchange of words with him and also abused the official with choicest words over some matter on Thursday. The accused has been booked.

According to details, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Rahul Ashok Rekhawat (30) was on duty and completing his official work in his office in Sadar area. At about 3.20 pm, the accused P S Sadavarte, resident of Plot No 138, ‘Bhagyarekha,’ Ramnagar, barged into the official’s chamber and started indulging in wordy duel with him over some matter. The accused also abused the Sub-Divisional Magistrate with choicest words and in a threatening posture and thus created hurdles in Government work. The bewildered Sub-Divisional Magistrate Rahul Ashok Rekhawat immediately lodged a complaint with Sadar Police Station in this connection.

Sadar API Sawant has registered an offence under Sections 353, 186, 504 of the IPC against the accused P S Sadavarte and probing the matter further.
