Man robbed at gun point by two goons & threatened to withdraw police complaint

Nagpur: A 57-year old man, who had lodged police complaint against two persons, was robbed at gun point and also threatened to withdraw the complaint filed against them. No arrests have been made in the case.

The victim, Subhash Bhimpuri Goswami (57), resident of Mhalgi Nagar, behind Besa Power House, Nagpur, had registered a case at Yashodhara Police Station against the two accused Madhukar Tulsiram Shende (47) of Narsala and Sanjay Lakhne (25) of Mahal. On Tuesday (April 28) around 7.45 pm, Subhash was returning home on his scooter. Midway, Subhash was stopped by the accused Madhukar and Sanjay. The accused asked Subhash why he lodged police complaint against them and threatened him to withdraw it. As the wordy duel was going on, the two accused whipped out a pistol and it at Subhah’s head. They then snatched Rs 2000 from Subhash’s pocket and also took his watch worth Rs 600 and fled the spot. Taken aback by the development, Subhash rushed to Police Station and filed a fresh complaint against the accused.

PSI Kulthe has now booked Madhukar and Sanjay under Sections 394, 506, 34 of IPC read with Sub-Section 3+25 of Arms Act and probing the matter further.
