Nagpur: In an outrageous act, a man burst into a girl’s house in the dead of night and raped her with force of life threat. The pervert accused has been arrested.
The accused Umesh Mahadeo Manmode (25) is native of Karanja Ghadge, District Wardha but presently staying near Harihar Mandir, Lakadganj. On July 30, 2017, between 3.30 am and 5.30 am, the accused Umesh entered the 25-year old girl’s house slyly and threatened to kill her. With the threat, the accused raped her. Scared of the life threat, the victimised girl delayed lodging a complaint against the accused but finally filed it with Sonegaon Police Station.
Woman PSI N K Kadam, acting on the girl’s complaint, booked the accused Umesh Manmode under Sections 376, 450, 506 of the IPC and arrested him. Further probe is underway.
