Man murdered by 3 friends in Nagpur’s Ambazari area

Nagpur: The incidents of murders are steadily increasing in the Second Capital of Maharashtra. It has been reported that under the jurisdiction of Ambazari Police Station, three friends together murdered a man following a minor dispute on Monday, September 30.

The deceased has been identified as Sagar Nakul Nagle alias Tuna (27), a resident of Sudam Nagari, Pandhrabodi. The accused are Veer Vinod Thapa (18), Ajit Santan Netam (26), and Suresh Manohar Yadav (25), all residents of Sudam Nagari. Ambazari Police have arrested all three and filed a case of murder against them.

According to the information, the incident occurred around 11:30 pm on Monday at the house of Bunty Devidas Uike near the Hanuman Temple in Sudam Nagari, Pandhrabodi. While the accused and the victim were consuming liquor, the deceased Sagar accused Veer of having an affair with his cousin and establishing a relationship with her. Enraged by this accusation, Veer lifted a cement rod and struck Sagar on the head. Following this, the accused Ajit and Suresh also repeatedly hit Sagar on the head with the cement rod, killing him on the spot. After the murder, the accused trio fled the scene. The incident created a stir in the area.

As soon as the Ambazari police received the information, they rushed to the spot. A panchanama was conducted, and materials from the scene were seized. All the accused in the case have been arrested. The body was sent to GMCH for post-mortem, and further investigation is underway.
