Kondhali police has arrested a 32-year-old man for allegedly killing his elderly father over arguments on petty issue. Accused Devidas Dharpure is a resident of Chikhali.
Devrao Dharpure, 75-year-old, was stabbed to death while he was alone at farm. Police told that the father-son duo was not having good terms with each other. Both would have huge arguments and fight over petty issues at home.
On Tuesday, Dharpure and Devidas were working together at their farm at Chikali. Argument begun between them after Devidas uprooted some plants. During the quarrel, Devidas hit rod on Dharpure’s head causing his death on the spot. Police registered a case of murder.
