Nagpur: A 30-year old man was abducted and thrashed by four persons over a petty matter. The incident took place in Kalamna police jurisdiction on Thursday evening.
A resident of Bhandewadi, Ward No. 6, the complainant, Nitin Nilkanthrao Mondekar (30) told police that the four accused Manoj Dharmik, Ram Dubey, Ganesh Chichghare and Ganesh Dubey, staying in the same area, picked a quarrel with him over a minor accident involving his vehicle around 5 pm on Thursday. The accused first damaged cement tiles on the roof of Nitin’s house and later forced him to sit in their vehicle. The accused took him to an open ground near Khatikpura in Kalamna area and thrashed him severely. They later dropped Nitin near his house but not before doling out a threat.
Kalamna ASI Chaudhary has booked the four accused under Sections 363, 452, 427, 324, 504, 506, 34 of the IPC and searching for them.
