Man from Assam dies suddenly while training at National Civil Defence College

Nagpur: A 50-year old man from Assam who had come to Nagpur for training at National Civil Defence College (NCDC) suddenly died apparently due to health issue.

The deceased, Kumud Nath (50), native of Tezpur, Assam, was in city for training at the Civil Lines-based National Civil Defence College. However, around 5 pm on Wednesday (January 17), Kumud Nath suddenly developed health complications. He was rushed to Sengupta Hospital in Ravi Nagar where he died around 6.25 pm while undergoing treatment.

Sitabuldi police constable A Wankhede, based on information, has registered a case of accidental death and probing the matter further.
