Man found murdered with 110 stab wounds

Tension ran high in Nandanvan area when an unidentified man was found murdered with 110 stab wounds. The people of the area woke up to a gory sight on Sunday. The incident came to light in the morning when passersby noticed the body by roadside nullah near Tulsi Nagar. Police are, however,  clueless over identity of the deceased.

According to reports, Nandanvan police received a call about the body lying in a nullah, at 8 am. A team of the police station immediately reached the spot and, after completing the preliminary investigation, sent the body for post-mortem. The initial report from doctors revealed that the body bore about 110 wounds spread over face, neck, thigh and chest. The wounds were reportedly caused by a sharp-edged weapon by more than one person. The murder may be an outcome of a running feud between the deceased and the killers.

Police are scanning missing reports across the city for any lead in the case as cops are clueless even about identity of the victim.

Cops have registered the case under Section 302 of the lndian Penal Code against unidentified accused.
