Man dupes SBI of Rs 7.4 lakh on forged documents

Nagpur : Koradi Police have registered a fraud case against a man, who secured vehicle loan of Rs 7,40,000 from State Bank of India by producing fake documents.

The accused, identified as Reshelal Bighade, a resident of Ward No-2, Walni Mines, taluka Saoner, presented forged documents for a vehicle loan in State Bank of India (SBI), Koradi, between May 16 and July 10 this year.

However, soon after the loan was approved, Bighade absconded, following which complainant Nilesh Sakhre (36), a resident of Bezonbagh, filed a complaint in Koradi police station.

Koradi police registered a case under section 420, 468, 471 of IPC and a further probe is underway.
