    Man conned by fake Police officers

    Nagpur:
    Claiming themselves to be police officers, three men conned 57 year old Vijay Ganveer by robbing jewellery worth 90 thousand rupees.

    The incident took place near S.D. Hospital under Kotwali Police Station. The man reported that while he was walking on the cement road of the area two men aged between 27 to 30 years approached him and told that they were investigating a murder nearby. They then asked him to hand over his jewellery, chain and ring, in his napkin.

    Later, a third man approached the spot and slid the jewellery in his pocket and handed empty handkerchief to the man while having a conversation. After they left, complainant discovered that the jewellery was missing. The police have registered case under sec 420 and 170.
