Nagpur: A middle aged man committed suicide by consuming poison at his residence under jurisdiction of Nandanvan Police Station on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Baban Janrao Gawande (35), a resident of Plot No. 98/1160, EWS Quarter, Nandanvan. According to police, Gawande consumed poison at 9.30 pm at home.
His family members rushed him to hospital where he breathed his last.
However, the reason behind Gawande taking the extreme step could no be ascertained so far. Nandanvan Police registered a case of accident death.
