Nagpur: A 30-year old man committed suicide by hanging in Maharana Pratap Hall, near Bank of India, North Ambazari Road, on Wednesday evening. The reason behind the man ending his life in a public hall could not be ascertained as yet.
A resident of slums behind Ramgiri, official residence of Chief Minister, Pintu Narayan Bhonde (30), committed suicide by hanging to ceiling fan rod with the help of a cloth piece at the reputed Maharana Pratap Hall on North Ambazari Road around 5.30 pm on Wednesday.
Bajaj Nagar police constable Vinod, based on information provided by Durga Shyamlal Neware (45), resident of Manavata Nagar Slums, registered a case of accidental death and launched a thorough probe into the matter.
