Nagpur: WhatsApp appears to be fast emerging as the new tool of sexual harassment as more women are being targeted on this media messaging mobile application.
In the latest case, MIDC police have booked Sachin Devanand Mate (47), a resident of Jaitala, for outraging modesty of a woman.
Police sources said the accused was in friendly relations with the woman. He allegedly sent obscene messages to the woman on WhatsApp and molested her.
