Nagpur News: Police booked a man for looting a travel bus owner under Nandanvan area on Tuesday night. According to sources, Rupesh Ratiramji Kamble (27), a native of Surbodi, District Chandrapur, owns a travel bus (MH 31 DC 6880). On Tuesday, he stopped his travel bus at Chamat Square, Dhighori on Umrer Road near a pan kiosk for passengers.
Accused Nasir Vedkhan Pathan (35), a resident of Tajabad, came near him and snatch cash Rs 6,000 kept in his shirt pocket and ran away. Rupesh and others tried to chase him but Nasir succeeded in escaping.
Rupesh lodged a complaint with Nandanvan Police Station against Nasir under Sections 392 of the IPC. Further investigations are on.
