Nagpur: A 25-year old lewd man has been arrested by Sitabuldi police on the charges of molesting an ST bus conductor on duty. The incident occurred around 6.30 pm on Friday.
The 39-year old woman, who is employed as bus conductor in MSRTC, said that she was on duty on Friday. Around 6.30 pm, as the bus stopped at Morris College T-Point, the accused Pradeep Vishnu Alone (25), resident of Mathela, Narkhed Tehsil, caught hold of her hand, talked in crude language and indulged in obscene acts. When the woman conductor raised strong objection, the other commuters came to her help and caught the accused Pradeep Alone. Later, the bus conductor registered a case against him with Sitabuldi police.
API C Yelkewar booked the accused under Section 354(A) of the IPC and placed him under arrest.
