Man abducted, attacked murderously by three persons over petty issue of auto-rickshaw fare

A 30-year old man was forcibly abducted from his house and later murderously attacked by three motorcycle-borne persons over a petty issue of auto fare. The incident was reported from Lakadganj area of city on Tuesday night.

The complainant, Kamlakar Narayan Gurnule (30), resident of Prem Nagar, near Gurudwara, was present at his house around 7 pm on Tuesday. At the same time, the accused Golu and his two accomplices entered Kamlakar’s house and forced him to sit on their motorcycle. The three accused took Kamlakar behind Mehdibagh Petrol Pump and asked him why he is not paying the auto fare. However, even before Kamlakar could say a word, the accused Golu and his two accomplices attacked him with wooden sticks, fists and kicks and fled the spot. Kamlakar lay at the spot bleeding and seriously injured but was shifted to a hospital by some residents.

Lakadganj API Mulani has registered an offence against the accused Golu and his accomplices under Sections 363, 326, 34 of the IPC and hunting them.
