Mumbai: When Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor were seen sitting side by side at one of the shows at the just-concluded Lakme Fashion Week 2018, rumour mills went into an overdrive.
For years, Malaika and Arjun kept people speculating about their relationship status. While the two were spotted at each other’s places quite often in the past few years, both Malaika and Arjun maintained a tight-lipped stance regarding the equation they share.
Now, looks like Malaika and Arjun are all set to go public with their relationship.
A source informed a daily, “Malaika is no longer keen on hiding her proximity to Arjun. When she was with Arbaaz, the Khan family, especially Salman, made their disapproval very clear. But now that she has broken away from Arbaaz, she sees no reason to be coy about her closeness to Arjun. Besides, Arbaaz is also seeing someone else now.”
Malaika and Arbaaz Khan’s divorce was finalised in 2017. The two parted ways in 2016. When Malaika and Arbaaz announced their separation, her closeness with Arjun Kapoor was rumoured to be one of the reasons behind her marriage breaking.
However, Malaika had said back then, “Arjun is a very good friend of mine. But people give a very different meaning to it, which isn’t true.”
Arbaaz, on the other hand, is currently dating Georgia Andriani. Andriani was seen in the 2016 film Guest Iin London.
The cameras have clicked Arbaaz and Georgia many times in the recent past. Arbaaz and Georgia were together at Arpita Khan’s house to celebrate Raksha Bandhan too this year.
Arbaaz and Georgia seem to have received a go-ahead from the Khan family too. The two have often been snapped with Malaika’s sister Amrita Arora too.
Malaika and Arbaaz’s son Arhaan also accompanied Georgia and Arbaaz on a date.
Malaika, on the other hand, has hardly been seen together with Arjun Kapoor except for their recent appearance at the Lakme Fashion Week 2018.
