Nagpur station as High Tension line falls on train coach
Nagpur: Panic grew large among the passengers at Nagpur railway station on Monday morning after a high tension power line broke lose and hit Bhubaneshwar express on the roof of one of its coaches. This resulted into huge sparks and sound that stirred up the chaos. The wire struck on coach S-6 with a loud sound, which created furore at the concerned platform for some time.

However the railway officials swung into action and got the repair done. Owing to repair works the train departed half an hour late from the station. Sources said that the high tension wire got entangled on the roof of coach S-6 of LTT 12145 Bhubaneshwar express.

Following the sparks and sound, the passengers got out of the train and ran amok.

Hearing the commotion, the station manager and RPF police also rushed to the spot. The officials spotted the wire hanging on the coach and issue was reported to TRD department, which took half an hour to do the repair.

Railway PRO Praveen Patil told Nagpur Today that the passengers flummoxed as sparks flew high from the impact of high powered line. He said the train has already left for further journey.
