Maitree Pariwar Sanstha gesture to adivasis

In a grand gesture, the Maitree Pariwar Sanstha, Nagpur, dispatched a truck load of clothes and household materials to adivasis of interior Gadchiroli District. The clothes sent are useful for men, women, children and the household materials include vessels, two TVs etc. The material will be distributed among adivasis residing in the jurisdiction of 52 police stations of Gadchiroli district. The Social Welfare Department of Gadchiroli undertakes various ventures for the welfare of adivasis and rural people of the district.

Apart from the clothes and household materials, the Maitree Pariwar Sanstha distributes medicines worth Rs 50,000 to the poor adivasis and other people of Gadchiroli District every month. Similarly, with the cooperation of Dande Foundation, Health Camp is organized every three months. The Police Department also distributes Bharat Bharti books to children for inculcating cultural values among them.

The truck load of clothes and household material was sent to Gadchiroli adivasis on July 20 under the guidance and inspiration of Director General of Police Praveen Dixit. The Police Inspector Kishore Mersjaye and his team, who had specifically come to Nagpur, were handed over the truck load of material. Present on the occasion include President of Maitree Pariwar Sanstha Sanjay Bhende, Prof Pramod Pendke, Manoj Band, Sanjay Nakhate, Rajiv Jaiswal, Akshay Bhelande and others.

Maitree Pariwar Sanstha, Nagpur, as a part of its social welfare activity, collects waste paper as well as old/new clothes, household materials etc. The collected material was sent to the adivasis of Gadchiroli District.
