Nagpur: The Indian National Congress has finalized 46 candidates in its fourth list of upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra. Rashmi Suryakumar Barve will contest from Ramtek, reserved for Scheduled Caste. Vikas Thakre will contest the Lok Sabha election against BJP’s Nitin Gadkari for the Nagpur seat. Dr. Prashant Padole will be contesting from Bhandara-Gondiya seat, while Dr. Namdev Kirsan will contest from Gadchiroli -Chimur seat, which is reserved for an ST candidate.

The Congress party on Saturday announced its fourth list of 46 Lok Sabha candidates, including party stalwart Digvijaya Singh and leaders Ajay Rai and Karti P Chidambaram.

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh has been fielded from the Rajgarh constituency, while Ajay Rai will be contesting against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi.

Expelled Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Danish Ali, who faced communal slurs from BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri inside Parliament, has been fielded as a candidate from Uttar Pradesh’s Amroha constituency.
