Nagpur: A Divisional Manager of a finance company situated at Udyog Bhavan, Civil Lines, has been booked by Sadar police on charges of duping a loan seeker to the tune of Rs 15.50 lakh.
The accused has been identified as Milind Vasudevrao Ingle (56), Divisional Manager at Branch Office of Sikkim Limited, situated at Udyog Bhavan, Civil Lines. The Khamla resident Ingle, during the year 2014-15, offered to sanction a loan of Rs 10 crore to Sachin Bhimrao Pathre (29), resident of Matanagar, Zingabai Takli for starting construction business. In return, the accused Milind Ingle took Rs 15.50 lakh from time to time. However, neither the loan of Rs 10 crore was sanctioned to Sachin Pathre nor his money returned by the accused.
Based on a complaint of Sachin Pathre and subsequent enquiry, Sadar PSI S R Dongre has booked the accused Milind Ingle under Section 420 of the IPC and probing the matter further.
