LCB officials conducted searches at MSCCF regional office and agents office

Nagpur News : While probing coal supply scam in Maharashtra State Co-operative Consumer’s Federation (MSCCF), Local crime branch officers of Chandrapur conducted surprise check at MSCCF regional office and two offices  of agents at KDK College and Central Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. LCB officials claimed to have seized about 10,000 incriminating documents.

Chandrapur police has booked MSCCF Executive Director Narayan Khatake, agents Ajay Agrawal, Vijay Agrawal and Naveen Jaiswal, Bhushan Kheboodkar, Manager, and two others are booked for fraud involving crores of rupees in the name of supplying coal in cheaper rate to Small Scale Industries (SSI) from Western Coalfields Limited (WCL).

The raid was conducted by Inspector Hemant Kumar Kharabe and his team. Police informed thatMSCCF had appointed Ajay Agrawal without following the eligibility criteria. The complaint was filed by Bhaskar Sahare. Cops are further probing the matter.
