LCB nabs two MP-based drug peddlers in Ramtek, recover 2.19 kgs of Ganja

Nagpur: Acting on the tip-off the sleuths of Local Crime Branch (LCB) Police on Wednesday arrested two Madhya Pradesh based men for allegedly smuggling forbidden drugs to Nagpur city from Ramtek’s Jagnade Square. Cops have arrested the accused identified as Manish Shankarlaal Chandrol (39), a resident of Bramani, Mandala and Iqbal Ramjan Sheikh (35), a resident of Nainpur, Mandala and confiscated 2.19 kgs of Ganja worth ₹20,000 from thier possession.

According to police sources, the squad of LCB comprising PSI Rajiv Kamalwar, Constables, Nana Raut, Dinesh Aadhapure, Rajendra Revatkar, Satyasheel Kothare, Vipin Gaydhane, Rohan Dakhore, Amol Wagh, Amol Kuthe received secret information regarding two MP based man smuggling ganja to Nagpur city via Khindsi, Ramtek route. Acting swiftly on the inputs, the cops laid trap near Jagnade Square in Ramtek and nabbed the accused.

The squad of LCB led by Senior PI Anil Jittawar subsequently, rounded them up at Ramtek Police Station and registered an offence under relevant Sections of the IPC. Further investigations are conducted by Ramtek Police Station.
