Lawyer accuses Jaripatka Police of threatening to kill him

Nagpur News:  In a development that triggered a Tsunami or an Earthquake in Nagpur police circle, a city’s young lawyer Adv Satish Uike has dropped a bombshell by charging Jaripatka Police of threatening to kill him in a bomb blast or by bullets of hired killers. Adv Uike has lodged a complaint in this connection with Ganeshpeth Police Station. The Ganeshpeth police have registered a non-cognizable offence and have completed just a formality.

It may be recalled, a court had ordered the Ganeshpeth Police Station to launch an investigation against Joint Commissioner of Police Sanjay Saxena , Ramani, and others. The court order followed after a petition was filed by Adv Satish Uike against the top police official, and others. However, even before launching of an investigation into the matter, a rattling development has taken place.

According to Adv Satish Uike, he received a call from a landline phone number 07122640404 on July 31 at 11.16 in the night. The caller threatened to kill him in a bomb blast or shooting. Uike further said that he received a call from the very number on August 1 at 7.06 again and the caller this time made his intentions. The caller threatened Uike and told him to either withdraw complaint against Saxena Sahab or face the consequences. Uike repeated the words of the caller: “Saxena Sahab has brought bombs, and has called sharp-shooters from Azamgarh (UP) to kill me and they have reached Nagpur. Dharma and Mohta  and their accomplices have been searching me and will kill me whenever I am spotted by them. The court could not harm Saxena Sahab. Even if I get saved by bomb blast or from shooters, the Maharashtra police will not spare me and will handcuff and take me all over the Nagpur. The police would make me Mafia, terrorist. Better I withdraw complaint against Saxena Sahab and others,” Adv Satish Uike stated. Uike said he received calls when he was in Ganeshpeth area for some works.

In the further shocking development, the caller phone number was found to be of Jaripatka Police Station.The caller talked with Adv Uike for 33 seconds. Since the complainant is Adv Uike, police should file an FIR in the case. According to reports, all the concerned rivals of Adv Uike, a “Supari” of Rs 1 crore has been given the killers.

Adv Satish Uike has also lodged complaints to Director General of Maharshtra Police and Nagpur Police Commissioner.
