Law Vision : Fadnavis seeks youths help in checking cyber crimes

Nagpur: Cyber crime is one of the major challenges before the legal field. The graph of cyber crime is showing an upward trend for the past several years. However, criminals go scot free in the absence of substantial proof, saying that, chief minister Devendra Fadnavis exhorted the youth to work in this area in and ensure that the criminals are brought to book.

Fadnavis said this while addressing the gathering at the concluding function of ‘Law Vision’, an annual festival of law at Dr Ambedkar Law College, Deekshabhoomi.

He said that the country has progressed in the right direction because of the guiding principles of Indian Constitution drafted by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. Lawyers play a crucial role in running a large democracy like India. It is they who ensure that the country runs as per the tenets of the Constitution.

The programme was presided over by secretary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak Samiti, Sadanand Fulzele. Bhante Surei Sasai, principal of the college P C Pawar and vice-principal Arvind Joshi were special guests on the occasion. The proceedings of the function were conducted by Shweta Parsodkar, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Varsha Deshpande.
