Vellore: The Last date to apply at VIT B School has been extended by 2 days that is 17 March 2018. The Vellore Institute of Technology Business School offers 2 year full time MBA programme in the various specialisation and was the first institute in the country to have received the 4-STAR rating from QS, the International University Rating Agency in 2016.

MBA in Manufacturing offered by VIT is a highly sought after programme as it is offered by very few institutes (BITS Pilani, IIM Bangalore, ISB Hyderabad, NITIE) in the country. This unique programme is increasing need for Techno-Business Managers for the Manufacturing Sector as the manufacturing sector in India is projected to grow as the nation grows and a shortfall of skilled workforce in this sector has been projected among others.

The MBA in Manufacturing Management is a four-semester Work Integrated Learning Programme designed for working professionals who aspire for leadership roles Manufacturing or Operations. This programme aims to provide comprehensive and strong conceptual foundations for planning, managing, and leading manufacturing operations and companies, enhance analytical and critical thinking for planning and implementation.

Selection at VIT B School will be, inter alia, based on valid CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/NMAT/CMAT, previous academic performance, industry experience, writing ability and the performance during the personal interview. Weightage is distributed in the admission test score, previous academic records, work experience if any and performance in WAT (Written Ability Test)/ GD/ PI and soft skills.
