Nagpur: An employee of Koradi Power Plant was knocked dead by a vehicle while he was going for duty on Friday. The unidentified driver the vehicle has been booked and is being searched.
The deceased Sarvind Tarachand Bansod (45), resident of 8 Type, Qtr No. 19/8, KTPS Colony, was going to duty at Koradi Power Plant on Thursday on his two-wheeler MH-40/R 6227). When he reached near Sankulan Square midway, a rashly driven vehicle (MH-40/SR 1602) hit his two-wheeler. As a result, Sarvind crashed on the road and suffered grievous injuries. He died on the spot even before medical help could be rendered to him. The driver of the killer vehicle fled the spot after the accident.
