Nagpur: After the impressive inauguration of a 5-day MBA Induction Programme at the hands of Dr. K. Venkatesham, an innovative ‘Know Your College’ expo was held on day 3 of induction of MBA students, at Tirpude Institute of Management Education (TIME).
The ‘Know Your College’ expo was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Praveen Mustoor, Chairman-Training & Placements, TIME. Present on the occasion were Dr. Lalit Khullar, Director, TIME and all faculty members. The expo was very innovative in the sense that all major college activities were represented by individual stalls set up for this purpose. Senior students manned each stall to explain their allotted college activity to the fresh students who were the visitors. Each stall was neatly and attractively decorated by seniors, under faculty guidance, in such a way that explaining the event could become easy. Printed sheets containing FAQs for all activities were handed over to the visiting fresh students.
Major college activities represented by one stall each, during the expo, included ‘Know your college’, Intercollegiate event Crescendo, Erudition, Industry readiness exercise (TiRE), Management aptitude development (MADness), Case study workshop, Library, Student aptitude test (T-SAT), Management aptitude test (T-MAT), Placement cell, Campus recruitment training, Summer internships (SIP), Short term projects (STP), Rotract, Tirpude’s
Global Outreach Programme (TOP), Research cell, Entrepreneurship cell, Applied & Retrospective arts (TiARA) courses, International affiliation, etc. More events of the induction programme that are to follow during the next two days include session on GST, interaction with seniors, grooming session, ‘Explore Yourself’, alumni panel discussion, outdoor games and management games.
