Comedy entertainer ‘Gun Pe Done’ encompassing a social message will connect to the masses particularly the kids, according to director Abhik Bhanu.
The film has a star-studded cast comprising efficient actors like Jimmy Shergill, Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee along with stunning newcomer Tara Alisha Berry and many others. Bhanu is floored by the brilliant acting displayed by them.
Abhik told media, “Working with such distinguished artists was the most pleasant experience of my life. I consider myself extremely fortunate that someone of the calibre of Jimmy Shergill loved the concept of my film very much. And Tara Alisha Berry is just outstanding in the film.”
Tara essays the character of a struggling actor in the project.
Tara told Media, “This project has been a blessing in every way. The director Abhik Bhanu and producer Manoj Menon have been very supportive of me from day one. ! Each member of the team treated me with the utmost kindness and respect and I have learnt a lot during the making of this film and am really grateful to have been a part of it.”
Tara added, “It’s ultimately the audiences who decide the fate of a film and I am praying for the best so that viewers love the film.”
Bhanu is raving about the music of the film composed by Rimi Dhar and is convinced that typical Bollywood style masala numbers ‘Girlfriend’, ‘Channa’ and the title track will strike the right chord with the masses.
The film is in the final stages of post-production currently and the makers are brainstorming on an apt release date for the film to reach the maximum number of audiences.
“Gun Pe Done is a fun family entertainer and it will connect with viewers from all age groups. And undoubtedly the kids are just going to love the film. I’m extremely confident about the prospects of the film and I’m hoping this film can raise the bar at various platforms not just in India, but also abroad,” said Bhanu.
The makers are portraying a critical message of ill-effects of hooch through a light-hearted viewpoint.
