Nagpur: Kendriya Janvikas Party, under the leadership of its city President Shailesh Karade and Student Wing President Bhushan Shrivas, organized a mega camp at Bhende Layout, Swavalambi Nagar on October 22 and 23, 2016. The camp saw organization of identity card distribution, health check-up, blood donation and other activities. A total of 928 citizens availed the benefits of the mega camp.
The programme was graced by Raje Mudhoji Raje Bhonsale as chief guest. Other dignitaries include Party’s National President Arup Mukherji, Vice President Suraj Singh Thakur, Maharashtra Region In-charge Observer Chetan Rajkarne. At the outset, traditional lamp was lit by guests to mark inauguration of the camp.
Raje Mudhoji Raje Bhonsale appreciated the initiative of Kendriya Janvikas Party in the social service and extended his best wishes for the future ventures. Party’s National President Arup Mukherji said that the Party’s aim is to give more importance to social activities rather than indulging in politics. He exhorted the party workers to organize such camps frequently in future as well.
A musical programme too was organized during the two-day camp in the evening from 7 to 9 pm. The artistes Gunwant Ghatwai, Monica Deshmukh, Manjiri Vaidya, Hemant Dharmadhikari, Pravrutti Kaner, presented a variety of songs while Deepak Fadnavis, Raju Gujar, Narendra Kadve and Govind Gadikar gave accompaniment in various instruments.
Kishore Galande conducted the programme while Dr Bhalchandra Kapre proposed a vote of thanks.
