Nagpur: C.M. Fadnavis made an inspection of the ambitious project of the NMC being built in the vacant grounds of Reshim Bag in the heart of the city – the Suresh Bhatt auditorium.
35 crores has already been spent on the project out of the 73 crores alloted to it. It will have the capacity to seat 2000 persons : 1400 on the ground floor and 600 in the balcony. The height of the building will be 27 meters and area 9870 sq meters. It will contain 12 Green rooms for Artists and two VIP rooms. It will be the biggest such auditorium in the city. The airconditioned hall will have solar panels fitted on the roof which will produce 200 KV energy which will help run the airconditioning and the massive lift having capacity to carry 20 people at one time.
Shravan Hardikar Municipal Commissioner welcomed C.M. to the venue. He was accompanied by Chief Engineer Ulhas Debadwar and Architect Mokha.
