Nagpur: A juvenile boy raped a 19-year old girl frequently over a period of one month. Incidentally, the victimised girl happened to be a close relative of the accused juvenile boy. The accused even threatened the girl of defaming her if she opened her mouth. He has been detained by Shantinagar police.
A resident of Shantinagar area, the 19-year old girl told police that the 17-year old accused, a juvenile boy, came to her house and raped her when she was alone. The accused exploited the girl physically frequently over a period of one month from October 2017 to November 2017. The juvenile accused even doled out a threat to the girl that he will defame her if she dared to narrate his nasty act to anyone. However, the girl somehow gathered courage and registered a case with Shantinagar police against the accused.
Acting on the girl’s complaint, PSI Mahesh Kushwaha booked the juvenile accused under Section 376 of the IPC and reportedly detained him. Further probe is on.
