Nagpur: Nagpur airport saw some moments of urgency and hurry when a Mumbai bound Air India flight which took off from Kolkata had to make emergency landing here on saturday afternoon. The flight reportedly developed technical snag following which the pilot sought permission to ground the plane to safety.
Sources informed that flight took off from Kolkata at around 11.30 pm and was scheduled to land at Mumbai airport, but meanwhile the pilots notices some problem in the engine. They swung into action and immediately contacted the air traffic officials to seek permission to make an emergency landing.
