Nagpur: Beauty with brains was the perfect amalgamation of Valentine’s Day celebrations witnessed at the beauty contest organised at Deshpande Hall on Thursday. The obvious aim was to gauge the intelligence quotient as well as physical presence of women participating in the contest. And driving away all odds, well-known journalist Surbhi Sirpurkar emerged as winner with flying colors and eventually grabbed the crown of Mrs Nagpur 2019.
The final round of the contest was organised by Women TV.
Earlier, constestants were selected through series of rounds in the city. Among 120 married women dropping in for the show up, 17 were shortlisted. Later Top 5 women finalists were selected after gruelling session of three rounds. Of them three made the cut.
The jury for the night brainstormed over every aspect of the look, presentation and responses received from the contestants and finally selected Surbhi Sirpurkar as the winner.
Sirpurkar is one the seasoned journalists who has successfully managed to strike a balance in his personal and professional life. While doing meaningful journalism, she is equally handling her domestic responsibilies as a wife and a daughter-in-law.
Well, kudos to Surbhi for the remarkable feat. Way to go!
