Hyderabad: John Abraham is all set to swoon fans with his dynamic cop personality in his upcoming release ‘Batla House’. It seems like the star is not only sweating out his blood for the film, but has actually shed it for his role as evident from his latest post.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, the ‘Satyameva Jayate’ star shared a selfie with director Nikkhil Advani captioning it in Hindi meaning, “We have even shed our blood for Batla House…What say.”
In the picture, the two can be seen all smiles for the selfie as John shows his injured finger.
Advani will be collaborating with the actor for the second time after ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’.
The flick is inspired by the real Batla House encounter that took place a decade ago on September 19.

The ‘Parmanu’ star will portray the role inspired by Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who spearheaded the encounter. As the tagline says ‘The story of India’s Most Decorated/Controversial Cop’, the case was about this one man who has had 70 encounters, a record 22 convictions from 30 cases and nine Gallantry Awards.
Earlier, John shared the first look of the film where he was seen wearing a police uniform and he seemed to be a firm and strong-headed cop.
Written by Ritesh Shah, ‘Batla House’ will hit the big screens on August 15, next year.
