JEE Main Exam in April: Check out the paper pattern

Nagpur: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The candidates can check the paper pattern below:
Paper pattern:
JEE Main 2016 shall have two papers, Paper – 1 (B.E/B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning).

Mathematics – Part I: Objective type questions

Mode of exam: Only pen and paper based exam

Timings:
Offline examination (Pen and paper based exam)
Paper 1: April 3 (9:30 am to 12:30 pm)
Paper 2: April 4 (2 pm to 5 pm)

Online examination for paper 1
April 9 and April 10 (To be notified)

The engineering entrance exam is conducted to short list candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions, institutions funded by several participating state governments, and several other institutions. Besides, the candidates that are seeking admissions to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs/ISM Dhanbad through JEE (Advanced) are also required to take the test.
