The exam had two following papers:

This year, Paper 1 had five multiple choice questions with a single correct option and eight questions of one or more correct type with 50 per cent negative marks. If the candidates did not mark any option, then they could be relieved with some marks. For each correct option, there is one mark awarded. There were five numerical-based questions, which carried no negative marks.

Paper 2:
Each subject had six single correct multiple choice questions (marking scheme: +3, -1); eight multiple choice questions with one or more correct options with marking similar to that of Paper 1 and two paragraphs with two questions each (marking scheme: +3, 0) i.e. no negative marking.

Hence, cut-offs are expected to be normal this year, i.e. 10 per cent per subject and 35 per cent overall as against 7 per cent per subject and 24.5 per cent overall in 2015.
