Nagpur: On September 19, 2024, DPS MIHAN welcomed esteemed delegates from Japan, attending the city’s One-Day International Multidisciplinary Conference on Climate Change. The delegates engaged with students from Grades VIII and XI, delivering insightful presentations on pressing contemporary global environmental issues. The team comprising Ms. Yuko Kaneko, CEO, NAVI Co.,Ltd; Ms Mizuki Sato, Director, Maruhachi Tent Co.Ltd., Ms Micky Maeda, Sales Manager, Maruhachi Tent, Co. Ltd., Mr. Tomoya Ueno, M.D.,NAVI Co Ltd, Mr. Noboru Yamada, Director Hilltop Tsuki Consultancy, Tokyo, Japan.
During their visit, the Japanese delegation discussed the Indo-Japan collaborative initiatives, emphasizing opportunities for students to explore cutting-edge technology and foster international partnerships. Ms. Yuko Kaneko led an engaging session, underscoring the vital role of effective communication in daily life. A dedicated interaction session allowed students to explore participation in the Indo-Japan exchange program, enabling them to acquire valuable knowledge, cultural insights, and hands-on experience.
The members took a school tour, experiencing the school’s progressive pedagogy and state-of-the-art facilities first-hand. They commended President & Pro Vice Chairperson, Ms. Tulika Kedia, and Director, Ms. Savita Jaiswal, for creating an outstanding learning environment that prepares students to thrive as global citizens.
