IUML submits memorandum to CM on Umarkhed riots

Nagpur: Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), Nagpur submitted a memorandum of demands to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regarding riots in Umarkhed in Yavatmal District. The IUML demanded severe action against the culprits, protection to Muslim community and compensation and rehabilitation of those who were affected by the riots.

The memorandum was submitted to the Chief Minister through the Deputy Collector of Nagpur District. Those present on the occasion include Shamim Sadique, President IUML Nagpur, Gulam Nabi, General Secretary, Nazir Fahrat, Vice-President, Aslam Khan Mulla, Corporator IUML, Nagpur & Muslim League Party Leader in NMC, Mohsin Khan, President , MYL Vidarbha, Taqdeer Usman, Treasurer, Mohammad Ziauddin, Kazi Riyazuddin, Zubair Khan, General Secretary, Muslim Youth League Nagpur, and several members of IUML & MYL.
