Nagpur: A devastating fire in an unauthorized commercial-cum-residential building in Itwari has claimed the life of 17-year-old Anushka Bakhade, who succumbed to suffocation while trying to escape. Her parents, Pravin and Renuka, remain in critical condition in the ICU, unaware of their daughter’s passing.
The family member revealed that Anushka’s brother, Sarthak, who narrowly escaped the fire, was discharged from the hospital and was present for Anushka’s last rites.
