IT expo COMP-EX 2018 to begin from Jan 11 in Nagpur

Nagpur: COMP-EX 2018 Central India’s largest and the happening IT expo will held from Jan 11 to 15 at St Ursula Girls High School Ground, Civil Lines, beside Collector Office. The 5-day event’s daily timing for the visitors will be from 12 noon to 9pm. Addressing a press conference on Thursday Rajesh Saboo, President of Vidarbha Computer and Media Dealers’ Welfare Association (VCMDWA) informed.

Rajesh Saboo said, there will be 16 pavilions and 60 stalls of various vendors from pan India participating in COMP-EX 2018. There will be arenas for regular activities, food plazas and parking for two-wheelers inside the school campus while four-wheelers can be parked along the road adjacent to the school campus as well as other designated areas which would provided by the organisers of COMP-EX.

“COMP-EX is the pioneer event in showcasing the ever dynamic advancements in the field of Information Technology ranging from the latest hardware to the application based software through this extravaganza at a mega-scale. Top companies from the IT field will be participating in this year’s Compex. Major players like Samsung India, D-Link, HP, Wardwiz, Lenova, Canon, Ipson, Dell, Tally, Marg etc., have confirmed their participation,” he said.

The theme for COMP-EX 2018 is cloud based technology and under its Nagpur Next and CSR initiative VCMDWA intends to act as an enabler, facilitator and mentor for thousands of qualified IT job seekers from Nagpur and adjoining areas. The initiative will be launched at COMP-EX 2018.

VCMDWA has invited job-seekers in the IT industry to submit their resumes and get themselves registered to avail the opportunities of getting placements with good IT companies. Various seminars and workshops will be conducted free of cost to upgrade the skills and talent of job seekers aimed with the sole idea to make them industry relevant.

Post registration, VCMDWA will make available resume writing services to help the prospects to have a proper flowing resume as per the industry expectations. VCMDWA will be interacting with the industry players to give them the confidence of providing IT human resource via the Job Assist initiative with upgraded and updated skill-sets, he informed

Job Assist, is a bridge created between the demand of the employers and job-ready relevant job-seekers. Being launched from COMP-EX 2018, the initiative entails creating a huge data base, segregating the same in relevant categories, enhancing knowledge and skill sets to present oneself as per the demands of the industry.
