Nagpur: Orange City Water hosted an interactive session with media professionals to introduce its groundbreaking Integrated Command & Control Center, Hubgrade. Nitesh Singh (CEO, OCW) & team, presented this state-of-the-art facility, which represents a significant milestone in water management, marking the first of its kind in India and currently operational in 22 Veolia-operated countries.

It serves as a centralized monitoring hub, revolutionizing the efficiency of water management across the entire city. The center employs advanced technology to collate and analyze data from various departments, presenting comprehensive dashboards, GIS maps, and insights on crucial metrics such as consumer complaints, supply hours, water pressure issues, WTP report, tanker supplies, and water quality.

This technology, implemented by OCW, plays a pivotal role in the identification and resolution of issues across different areas of operation. By leveraging advanced monitoring systems and data analytics, OCW can swiftly pinpoint areas experiencing challenges or discrepancies in water supply, pressure, quality, or distribution. Once identified, the team can promptly devise targeted strategies and interventions to address these issues, thereby enhancing the reliability and efficiency of their services. Through proactive monitoring and timely intervention facilitated by this technology, OCW ensures a seamless and reliable water supply to its consumers, fostering greater satisfaction and trust among the community it serves.

By leveraging live visual displays and actionable data, the Hubgrade center enables swift identification of issues, empowering field teams to respond promptly and efficiently. This proactive approach not only facilitates early problem-solving of consumer complaints but also enhances the quality of services provided to consumers.

Commenting on the initiative, Nitesh Singh, CEO of OCW, stated: “Our aim with Hubgrade is to foster collaboration and deliver seamless services for our customers. By harnessing the power of data and technology, we are not only addressing challenges proactively but also gaining a competitive edge in the industry.”
