INDO-UK institute of health Visits MIHAN to SCOUT land for health centre

WhatsApp-Image-20160609 (2)Nagpur: The Make in India Team officials along with Indo-UK institute of health (IUIH) visited MIHAN area to assess the location and advantages of MIHAN for setting up Indo-UK institute of health.

The land requirement is of 150 acres to have an Indo UK Institute of Health Medical University which will incorporate a 1000 bed Multispecialty Hospital, a UK based Medical College, a UK based Nursing College, A post graduate training academy, Education Colleges for paramedics colleges, NHS -IUIH supply chain office, Implant Manufacturing Unit etc. .

PM Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of England, David Cameron signed a pact to establish 10 state of the art hospitals across India.  IUIH is the nodal agency driving this implementation in India and they met the CM of Maharashtra and expressed interest to develop world class healthcare and education facility Maharashtra.

Accordingly, Uday Munjal, AVP, Investor Facilitation Cell, Make in India co-ordinated the visit of IUIH to MIHAN, Nagpur. Atul R Thakare, Marketing Manager, MIHAN gave a detailed presentation to the team from IUIH consisting of Dr. Ajay Rajan Gupta, MD & CEO, IUIH and Bipin Gohil.

The team was pleased with the state-of-the-art infrastructure in MIHAN and have shown interest in 153 acres of land parcel in MIHAN SEZ.

The project is being planned for medical tourism wherein world class medical treatment will be provided to foreign as well as Indian patients. This project aims to generate 1 lac employment within country. Indo-Uk institute of health project supports and facilitates healthcare links between the United Kingdom and India.  It leads a number of healthcare projects and healthcare work force plans between private and government organizations and facilitates the development of India.
