Indian team hits nets for hard practice session at VCA’s Jamtha Stadium

Nagpur: After an emphatic win in the first One Day International against Australia at Hyderabad a couple of days back, the Indian team will want to end the ODI series on a high by winning all the .remaining four matches, online gambling sites predict.With this determination in mind, the Indian team – led by flamboyant Virat Kohli –on Monday afternoon hit the nets for a gruelling practice session at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Jamtha, Nagpur.

Apart from a few select spectators occupying seats sparsely in the magnificent stadium, grounds men and office-bearers of VCA, the Indian team slogged at the nets under the watchful eyes of a posse of policemen. MS Dhoni, Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and the rest of the members of the team were seen practicing hard with Coach Ravi Shastri keeping a watch on the proceedings. Kohli who came with a heavy red-coloured carry bag was even seen cracking jokes with Dhoni. The ace spinner Yajuvendra Chahal walked with Rahul Sharma holding a couple of bats as if he was also serious in batting and contributing in team score. Kohli was also seen in animated talk with Vijay Shankar and giving him some serious tips.

Chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav was seen talking to mediapersons at the pre-match conference and dwelling on some cricketing points.

Virat Kohli’s team registered a comfortable six-wicket win over Australia in the first match and would be looking to repeat the same performance in the second match on Tuesday.

Indian and Australian teams arrived in city on Sunday by the same flight from Hyderabad.
