Impressive passing out parade by trainees held at RPTS

An impressive passing out parade of 106th batch of newly recruited girl trainees was held at city’s Regional Police Training School (RPTS) situated in Surendra Nagar on Tuesday (May 31). The trainees completed their training with flying colours and are ready to be deployed as police personnel at various police stations and other duties across the State of Maharashtra. A total of 1286 trainees participated in the passing out parade and also displayed their skills that were part of 9-month training.

Madhuri Ganpat Kachate (Chest No. 950) of Pune District commanded the parade. Rupali Anil Sonavane (Chest No. 1071) of Nashik District was adjudged the outstanding trainee and was honoured at the hands of the guest.

The chief guest of the programme was Bhushankumar Upadhyaya, Additional Director General of Police and Inspector General (Prisons), Maharashtra State. He took the salute of the passing out parade. Other officials present on the occasion include Principal of RPTS Dilip K Jhalke, Vice Principal Sunil Shinde, Vice Principal Vivek Jivne, Reserve Police Inspector D V Jivtode, other officials, employees and a large number of parents and citizens.
